Are you wanting to stay OBD0 and use a V-tec controller??
DX-SI/ZC conversion http://www.deepstaged.net/dxtozc.htm

Going with OBDI w/a P28 ECU ? now here is the fun part... http://www.geocities.com/kurtsi_on/page9.html

as for going to OBDII you've got me....

either stay non obd or get an obd1 adapter harness and run a p28 , if this was me i would run a 86-89 integ ecu or 88-91 si ecu and a vafc , u must switch to non obd injectors the dist. your stock distributer should work as far as wiring u gotta switch from dual point to multi point , all i can think of right now , good luck

accually if going to stay OBD0 needs 88-89 teg ECU its electronic timing advance while 86-87 are vacumn...Stock Diz from a DX will not work with a MPFI swap its missing cylinder position sensor. You can still use OBD1 injectors just don't wire in the injector resistor box. If you have the knowledge and time (4-5 hours it took me took alot of breaks though) to make the jumper harness for the OBD1 conversion you can get the ECU plugs from your old DX ECU and get the harness plugs either from a junkyard or off someone on the board. I paid 10.00 for my harness plugs and start soldering away

yeah need to do some rewiring but it can be done. Need to run wire for the v-tec pressure sensor, ground the knock sensor wire, merge wires for the o2 sensors and of course add wire for the V-tec silonoid. Also can get a Mugen rom that disables everything except for the V-tec out. Wouldn't suggest reving a Z6 or Y8 to the 8200 rev limit no matter what. 7200 is about tops for a stock D16

it would probably better and cleaner to go with this setup then....

p28 ecu
p28 dizzy
blown90hatch's obd0-obd1 conversion harness

wouldn't that be an easier way to go and safer and a cleaner install?
