Best tires for an integra?
Hi,
I'm planning on replacing my stock michelins in the next month or so, and wondering what are the best tires out there to get. My tire size is 195/55-15 (stock equipment) Thanks for any ideas.

question is.......what do you need the tires for? are you into occasional racing? daily street/hwy driven? full race?
**** the Michelins, that **** is expensive and sucks ***..... I have 16X7 Rotas wrapped in Sumo HtrzII's. Wridden on em for about 6 months or so, 5000+ miles. Nice ride, not too loud, and they grip like a bitch. Never skidded once, even in rain.... check carreviews.com......
Yokohama Paradas are good
if i were you i would buy a second set of rims or just wheels (like some stock gsr or steeles ) and put all weathers on them and the other set for summer only , i have a set of 94 gsr hammmerheads with faulken azenis sports ( great in summer and dry only) and a set of Yokohama that are m+s (all seasons) for the winter if i HAVE to drive my car instead of a beater. . . .
p.s. the faulkens are cheep( 70 a piece on discounttires size 205/50/15 ) and grab hard , nice and sticky , i do drive quite aggressively though with a daily driven 100 + mph

pretty much most people run the size 205-50-15 with stock rimms or spoons( rota slipstreams)

best bang for the buck would be the Ecsta 712's
good traction in wet/dry conditions...fantastic treadwear and for 15"'s they'll be cheap..especially if you only get V rated tires....Z rated will run ya about $100 installed at any tire dealer. but def good tire

Yokohama, and Falken Azenis, are excellent companys. I have both (Yokohamas on a civic, and Falkens on the GSR) and they are great.

If you want tires with good long life, good dry traction and great wet traction go with the Kumho 712's. I have driven with them in the snow, you can do it just be careful. If you want something that has better dry grip go the the Azenis.
I would also recommend getting 205/50/15's instead of 195/55

Plus I think the tread pattern looks better.
Hey man I just bought some Falken ZIEX 512's for $250 for mounting and balancing and they are GREAT! They are a big difference over the shitty *** stock michelins for sure!
i got my kumhos for i think $63 each and installed them all myself. very nice compared to stock ones which were over 2x the cost per tire
I have Sumitomos right now, they seem to work ok.
What do you think about the Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Positions. I know they are expensive, but are they better than the Dunlops and Kuhmos.
Thanks
Thanks
What's the treadwear rating on your Kuhmos? Do they last a long time?
