Default Cutting bumper...

You know how the 98 and up teggies bumper looks.... its all opened in the front air dam, do you think its a good idea to cut mine out from a 95 to make it all opened? Has anyone done it? Post a pic.

it will depreciate the value of your car, don't do it! just get the full 98 conversion and sell your old ones.

I've seen it done many times. Up close it doesn't look too pretty since you can see the black plastic body of the bumper where you cut it out. From far away, it's real nice, especially if you have a nice shiny intercooler in there.

The 98+ conversion is an option, but that might be costly (bumper, headlights, corner lights, and possibly paint). It'll look great though.

i use to have a pic but i dont anymore

when i had my old integra painted i had the bodyshop cut out the grill and fill in the hole that was left behind from cutting it out . when you cut out that middle bar it leaves open spots like this < > , on each side where the bar use to be , hope you get the idea . since the 94-97 teg has a 2 piece front bumper i also had the bodyshop mold them together to eliminate the line going across the bumper . looks really clean , to bad i dont have pics . sorry
