Guys, I'm convinced that if I didn't have bad luck, i'd have no luck at all.
I was replacing the obd1 injectors that were in my b16a so i could prep it for when we do the swap next week into my 90 CRX, and just as I was getting ready to put the last injector in, my little brother picked up the last one and dropped it on my garage floor, breaking the end of it. Now i'm in need of a b16a obd0 injector. I posted something about it in the classifieds, saying I would trade someone all four obd1 injectors for just one obd0 injector, but that's not going too well. The place I originally got the injectors from doesn't have any more, and they don't know where I can call to get one.
Guys, I really need your help. Does anybody know of a place I can get an obd0 injector? Honda doesn't sell it because they don't have JDM catalogs; didn't even bother to try looking. I have to have this injector by the time I do my swap, which I already took time off of work for. I have every single ****** part I need, and now i'm short an injector. I feel like screaming.. someone please help!

 

I think the CRX Si or Hatch Si should have the same 240cc injector that you are looking for. Or get one from a 90-91 Integra LS.

 

can someone please confirm this? I want to be absolutely, positively, 150% sure.

well it says its the same SIZE injector... maybe this might be an incredibly stupid question, but I know nothing about injectors, so i'm not gonna pretend that I do. Is it true that as long as its a 240cc obd0 injector that it will work with the b16a? I really don't know.

 

If your brother dropped the injector and broke the pintle cap (the plastic piece that covers the nozzle end of the injector) you can replace it. Try this website http://www.cleaninjectors.com/home.html . They will test, clean and replace the fuel baskets and pintle caps for $45.00. I recommend them.

 

I appreciate the information, and thanks. I am concerned about this statement from his website though:
"Injectors that have broken or melted connectors, damaged pintles, or excessive amounts of rust inside the injector are not repairable. We can supply replacement injectors. "
So it doesn't look like i can get it repaired. I do know that someone mentioned that I can use obd0 injectors off of a CRX si 88-91. Is this true? Can someone give me a definite answer on this, or direct me to a site where I can find out for sure? I'm REALLY stuck here.

Taking apart the injectors, it looks like the cheap plastic caps are replaceable (one time use), since they have a grove and seem to snap in. I would assume they were replaceable. The o-rings are another thing to check, as well as the filter.
