will tial wastegate fit on a drag III manifold and be able to shut the hood?

i put it on today and the little bitch is big, will i be able to shut my hood. on an integra..b18b

I heard people take the top port off. I was wondering what that is for? Just another vacuum port? Is it necessary, or do you need to accomplish it another way?

it's actually for a boost controller...

i have a 92 hatch, my tial put a giant dent in my hood. meh. damage done oh well.
