its not legal. signals (in the back) have to be red or yellow.

 

i think the red and amber ones look fine. anyways, why didnt your car come with the 99-00 tails if it is a 2000?

 

because its a CX.

CX has amber DX has clear.

that would imply that there was only 1 clear light.

"stock were clear" is what i just said really fast instead of "the stock bulbs were clear".

edit: further more, i was talking about the bulbs being clear. not the plastic.

wrong buddy. i got a CX and i have the red and clear tails.

 

lol, how am i wrong? when i took the lights off, it was obvious that they had never been removed before, so it obviously came like that from the factory. i have also seen many other 99-00 CXs on the road with amber taillights, and i have NEVER seen a 99-00 DX with the ambers.

what year is your CX? maybe they switched back to ambers in 2000? maybe the previous owner (if there was one) of your car changed them? either way, calling me wrong was out of line.

 

96-98 got amber
99-00 got clear

it may have looked like they werent replaced but maybe they were, i have not seen a 99-00 with amber tails unless they were put on

Well, aside from the grammatical error.

The previous owner of the car must have switched tailights to the pre-99 model. Because, ALL 99-00 Civic HB has the clear turn signals regardless of model.

Has the car been involved in an accident?

 

whatever. i got red/clears now, im happy, it doesn't matter anymore.

hell no, clear bulbs for turn signals look nasty IMHO. If it were me I would have gone w/ amber bulbs.

 

Amber bulbs would definitely look better. By the way...where are the altezzas?

Hey man - if you smoked that clear portion it would look really really good. Search for redstargsr's tails, they are on a g2 gsr, but the color he has on his would make yours all the better imo.
