84-87 crx b series swap questions.
I didn't get much help in hybrid. so I'm posting here. Please go here to read my questions. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=437921
Your best bet is probably to find the issue of SCC from last year. They put a B16 into an.......'86 i believe. It's the SCC with the red Lancer Evo 8 on the cover, airborne. I know because I've read the article many a time. Think it's march or june of '02.
With an HF itll be a little troublesome seeing as its carbed. Youre best bet and the easiest way is to get an Si. With the Si and HASport mounts, linkage, wiring harness and axles its a pretty straight forward swap, similar to a 4th gen.
If you already have the HF and a 86-89 integra parts car then you can pretty much get whatever you need from it. It'd be a cool project and you'd probably learn a lot doing it. I like 3rd gen. civics and 1st gen CRX's. Theyre fast cars with B series and theyre not as common. Good luck with whatever you choose.
