Dings, Dents...you name it I got it....HELP!!!
Anyone know what I can do to get some small dings out of my fenders from where people have leaned up against them when we were chillin' in parkin' lots throughout town and pissin' the POlice off....besides tellin' the peeps to get off the car...I'm really not wantin' to spend $200+ on gettin' these small ones out....they are on the body lines also.....
ok heres the scoop. First have the metal at a warm temp. Nothing to hot. Lets say you have a coupe and theres that nasty ding in the rear quarter panel.
Pull back the lining in the trunk exposing the backside of the dent.
Grab a tablespoon (nothing smaller) and with the curved smooth side of the spoon lightly rub the backside of the dent. Try and keep the spoon centered on the middle of the dent.
Always keep your eye on the dent itself on the outside of the car. Keep rubbing the spoon (if you have to at this point use a slight more bit of force) over the dent (ding) until it goes away.
Once the ding is gone remember to the put the spoon in the sink or your wife will threaten you. (not that it's happened to me or anything)
This might help with some of them.

That sounds like a pretty good idea. Let me know how it goes once you try it tomorrow. I might go at it on my teg when I get a free day!
How would I get to a golf ball size dent above the passenger door?I don't recall seeing anything to pull back to expose me to the inside of it. It is pretty darn ugly though.

We used a ding king on my bros car for a couple of hard to reach spots and it actually worked perfect. Put a little glue on the cup, apply, screw on the brace and keep screwing it down then "dong" it will pop off and the dent is gone.
I really had no expectations when I saw that thing but it works very well. Dents and dings just suck and anything helps. You can also keep it around for later.
Well worth the 30 bucks or whatever.

The last hood I got for my Civic came in with a dent
took like 10 minutes to fix becuase it was located in a good spot. You dont have to be a body man to do this I am not and I can.
