Default Pic Request...Black tegs with tinted corner lights or tails

Yea, so I got some clears for my black 99 GSR, and I think they are pretty cool, but tinting them might be even better. I can think of at least 2 people that should reply to this(ebelp and the guy w/ the black itr w/ nos)

Yea, so lets see the pics. Also, where can I get the tinting spray?

Ask and you shall receive!!

Got my spray from www.summitracing.com.

Here's another set of bumper lenses with like 10 coats of that spray.

omg finally a thread ive been wantin to read about

so where do you actually spray the night shades? on the outside or inside of the lights? and if it's inside, how did you remove them? i heard if you remove teg tail lights it is impossible to replace them without breaking something off??

The spray goes on the outside of the lenses and taillights. There are like 6 nuts that you have to remove to get the taillights off. I didn't break anything. Unless you plan on removing all of your inner panels, or you have really small hands, I'd get a really small crescent wrench, cuz there's hardly any room to work with. All I removed was the very rear plastic panel.

where are these nuts situated?
i can find the nuts on the side lights but i cannt find any on the tail lights

spraying the outside; wouldnt that lead to wear and fading?

If you remove the rear panel, you'll see the nuts. As far as wearing and fading, I'm sure you probably wouldn't notice anything like that happening for years...

Yea, I really love the stock red's in the back, but I think up front the tinted corners looks mean. I think i'm gonna search for some spray locally. Speaking of tinting, I need to tint my windows. The black leather gets so damn hot here in the summer.

you can also get automotive clear coat and tint it w/black paint.I would shine better and last as long as the paint job on the car.First wet sand it w 1500 paper dry them off mask the backsides and spray away.I have done lots of stuff this way.I did my tags some factory emblems you can tint it w/any color you want.

hey sorry if this is kinda OT, but i've been planning on tinting some CF tezzas i've had sitting around. the 4th gen prelude tail lights are relatively easy to pull apart, and i was wondering if i would be better off tinting the inside...? or would it matter?

Ahh, found the tinting paint at hte local hobby shop. I'm gonna go ahead and tint the clear corners tomorrow. If i don't like it I think i'll just go back to ambers and sell the clears tinted(maybe I can sell them for more because of that, lol). I'll let ya'll know how it goes..
