Default What place do you reccomend to buy a clutch from?

Also what clutch would you reccomend for me?
And where should I get it from?

I am going to get the Comptech Lightweight Aluminum Flywheel, Unless you can prove to me a better FW.

My mods are nothing but a wacked driver with a heavy foot!
edit:
I also Sit in alot of (bumper to bumper) traffic 6 days a week, I don't mind a toggle switch clutch aslong as its not going to break the car if I mess up once in a while.
I'm looking to have a lightest possible Fw with a strong clutch that could take daily punishment and still hold up to the road racing and from red light to red light.

rob, that flywheel looks pretty poor in design, but thats my opinion.

they have the right idea with all the mass in the center, but went a little overboard by taking way too much off the sides. flywheel failure anyone?

I really don't like the design of that flywheel you posted now that I think about it... Sure, it probably weighs nothing... but yeesh, that's a little extreme.

Its not like the edge of it is under much stress. All its there for is to engage the starter, thats all.

Any thoughts on the
and the ???????
I've got the 12.5 pound in a 94 RS and its great. One of the best things I've done to the car. I only wish I would have gone with the 8.8 pound wheel. I couldn't believe what a difference 5.5 pounds made on the FW.

this may very well be the case, but under no circumstances would i want the outer part to fly off at the firewall at 8000 rpms or so.. that would be not so good

the comptech flywheel seems so much more appealing

to each his own.

Nick (newgsrdriver) might still sell ACT clutches.

Otherwise, check with the guys at Massimo for ACT stuff.

I 'personally' like Chromoly fly wheels over Aluminium. I just saw an aluminium (Unorthudox or a Clutchmasters) where the rivets that hold it together had loosened up and the flywheel was one rattling wreck. I know it is rare but I have seen it more than once on aluminium.

Hey Rob, Matt aka Dropspeed gets a "Brooklyn-style Biggup" from me. Definetly give him a call. I got the Dart from him. Excellent customer service.

Ok guys what about the stock clutch and the comptech 6.75 Flywheel? I have looked on the acuraautomotive site and put the price together of 674.22 for everything, Is that ok?

IF there is someone on this board who could do better, IM me and I'll keep it between you and me.
