doing swap tomorrow. any suggestions??

Default doing swap tomorrow. any suggestions??

i getting my Dohc Zc motor put in finally, and heres a list of things i have :

-Exedy clutch
-new oil filter
-5w30 motor oil
-coolant
-ecu

am i missing anything??

while you have the motor out you might want to do timing belt and water pump, also you might want to replace the oil pump. not nessecary but extra insurance.

I'm guessing you miss-typed 5W30 as 5W10. Don't forget extra oil for the transmission as well.

hehe i was thinking 5w30 and 10w30 at the same time!
will regular motor oil work with the tranny?

If you can, use Honda transmission fluid, but 10W30 will work too.

Im swapping my DOHC ZC in next weekend.. ordered a new timing belt and water pump today. I'd suggest atleast doing those two so you wont have to do it once the motor is in the car. I'll probably replace my spark plugs and spark plug wires too.

of course the normal tune up stuff
spark plugs
S P wires
cap + rotor
i beleive u need a new upper radiator hose...
wire, solder, elec tape etc
lots of food , beer and a piece of paper so u can write down , the times u going tocuss ans say **** while u doing the swap!
