i just hooked up a MBC on my Lude tonight and i am now boosting about 10psi, well, as it climbs, i got a funky kind of clicking/grinding noise, and i was just wanting to make sure i wasn't hearing detontion, timing is set at 15 degress advance, but tomorrow, i will retard it a little more to see if the noise goes away

Take a pop can, put a few bb's in it and shake it up...viola instant detonation
.....j/k...but that is what it sounds like.....a hollow rattling sound...

nah, i am not running lean, i know that much due to a wideband O2
, but i turn the distributer back a little to retard the timing some, and it didn't help either...... i am gonna work a little with my AEM EMS system and see if there is some **** i can adjsut or something

Any reasons that you're turning the distributor housing to change the timing
versus using the EMS? Now you need to re-calibrate your EMS timing to ignition timing.
