thermostat replacement

Default thermostat replacement

wow, i just spent 3 hours trying to get a wrench or a deep socket onto my thermo housing, and i can get it off at all....the bolts are just impossible to get to

anyone have an easy way of doing this??

Dont try to take off the entire housing. The housing cover which is where the lower rad hose goes into comes off with 2 10mm bolts. Its right there easy to get to. Once that cover is off the t stat is right there. Good luck!!

but i still have probs getting to those two bolts! Its just tuff to get to....i was just wondering if this was a common ef prob, and how do u guys get to it?
