im using my old h23 distributor with an external coil. i did a jdm h22 swap and noticed that the distributor has an internal coil. how do i mount the external coil to the h22? TIA

you can just use your h23a1 distributor. You could also run a msd dist cap that converts to external coil.

 

i am using the h23 distributor with the external coil right now because i didnt feel like replacing the busted cap on the h22 distributor.

my question is: where would i mount the external coil? right now, its just hanging. can anyone post any pics of their engine bay and maybe i can get an idea?
