How does this work?
This was posted on one of my threads and i do not understand what it means...
"dont forget to use the dizzy/external coil from your h23, unless you are planning on running the internal coil h22 one..."

usdm coils are external. the jdm is internal. if you are swapping a jdm h22a, you will more than likely just use your dizzy (if you have an h23). just fab up a bracket to mount the coil.

Internal coil distributor: ignition coil is smaller and mounted inside the distributor cap. It does exactly the same thing as any other coil, just a different setup
External coil distributor: distributor cap is empty and the actual coil is a separate unit mounted on the engine or engine bay somewhere. You have to have another ignition cable to go from the coil to the distributor cap with this setup.

Hahaha, you waited 1 minute to bump the thread
You can swap the distributors out, you just have to use the coil that goes with each one.
