Default Advantages of 6" wide to 7" wide

Lookin to do more than usual autoxing this year and am in the market for wheels as well. I want to do 15", to keep some sidewall, my tire choices are the Azeinas or more than likely the SO-3's in a 205-50-15. What are the advantages or using a 15x7wheel as opposed to a 15x6 or a 15x6.5. Thanks for your input.

wider wheel = more contact patch= more tire on the ground

right, but a wider wheel will allow you to use more of the tire.

Look at this picture:

My car is the red integra in front - thats a 225/45 ecsta V700 on a 6" wheel. The car behind me (red hatchcrap) has 205 tires on a 6.5" wheel. That should explain it. Notice how the tire onto my wheel is streched and the sidewall is pulled in.

A simple "link isnt working for me" would be sufficient.....

I'll host it with WTDR instead
