Default Turbo on ZC

hi,

I recently bought a 16G turbo and want to put it on my ZC motor.
Im trying to find various parts and would like any info that oyu all could give me.
I need to find an FMU, and a plate adapter in order to fit the turbo to a HF manifold.

Also, is there anything i should look out for?
righ tnow im only planning a maybe 4-5 psi, im not sure how high i could go with a stock block, fmu, boost controller and fpr

i plan on rebuilding hte motor, have some pistons dropped in ( possibly 89 teg flat top pistons) to lower compression, and a safc, bigger injectors, etc.

thanks,
Scott

about 13 pounds the rods will bend and the ringlands will break.

i dont agree. The ZC shortblock is almost identical to a z6 and y8. There is many people, like myself, on this board that have run 15psi or more on stock d16 blocks without them breaking. Tuning is key.

The 88-89 Integra pistons are not flat. They are domed and will yield 9.5:1 in a ZC using the stock headgasket. The 86-87 Integra pistons are flat and will yield 9.3:1 in a ZC with the stock headgasket.

If your planning on rebuilding, get Endyn's roller wave pistons. There a little pricey but sweet as hell. as for the adapter plate, just take your turbo and manifold to a machine shop, they'll make u one for like $40

cool, thanks for the informations so far.

i have a couple more questions.

I have a blwon hf motor, so i have a manifold to use. is ther anything extra i need to do besides having an adapter plate for the turbo? and will the manifold need to be ported or anything before it bolts to a ZC? Also, will an HF oil pan fit on a zc? if so, where do i need to run the oil return line? i have a friend who can tap one for me, i just need to know where.

thanks again,
Scott
