CEL on 90 CRX si
it has come on twice now... only after running for a while... goes into limp mode but when I turn it off and then back on it is fine... temp is good... oil is fairly new... new plugs, cap and rotor... fresh coolant... any suggestions???
this happens to me as well. the ECU sends code 1. I had a A/F ratio gauge so took it off and sold it. then reset the ECU and now it hardly ever sends the cel, but it still throws code 1.

I'm battling the same problem in my 90 crx si. damn code 1, its the "oxygen content" code, right? mine started doing it the other day when i
misshifted
and hit ~11,000-12,000 rpms. i can't believe the damn thing held together, but it did. it runs fine, but now im getting code 1.
i also now have an irratic idle. revs between 1000=1500 rpm. cel comes on after ~2 mins of driving. irratic idle stops if i unplug the TPS. i had the same exact problem on my 92 accord, and it turned out to be the IM gasket.
i just put my car back together, checked everything but the IM gasket. i guess thats tomorrow. i eliminated the EVAP control system, still doin it. damn car.

ok, im trowing a code 4... thats crak angle sensor right... but it only does it after the car runs for a while and then if i turn it off and restart the light goes out... i searched and read something about a dizzy bearing going bad and heating up the sensors and screwing with them... does this sound logical to you guys?
bearing going bad may cause the shaft to wobble just enought to throw the sensor off and/or possably hit the sensor. BAD.... I would suggest grabing some elses and test run it on both see if throws same code in there car and vice versa
