make sure you remove as much of stock motor components as possible. stock exhaust mani is 25lbs, the AC braket is 15lbs. replace your sunroof with a fiberglass filler.
the standart weight removing procedures a well (sound deadening material, light seat, lexan windows, etc.)

When I did my B series swap and took it to the track, I was dumbfounded. My 1991 Si weighs in at 2350 without me in it. With the turbo it's VERY close to 2400. I think like 2375.

I went turbo to overcome the weight issues of the Si model hatch.

Damn that is a fat ***. My car weighed 2040 without me with only a few things removed from it. Now I took out all the A/C which is good for about 40-50 savings, and I will be stripping the rest of my rear interior out but installing a roll bar, so I hope the weight evens out.

90-91 Civic Si's were the heaviest ED's of all. Yet my 88 DX hatch weighs in at like 1980 lbs or so... such a huge difference.

with removal of stock spoiler. and everything from behind the fron seats. my hatch weighed about 1900 or so with a half tank of gas, and no one in it...
