Default Searched with poor results- Code 6 & 14 OBD I GS-R: surging idle...

I'm having a surging idle, and it's killing my MPG! So far I've swapped the IAVC, ECT sensors to no avail, and I can't seem to figure out what is going on here(I also re-bled the coolant system). I have codes 6 and 14 and an idle that surges from 1k to 3k and at times holds at ~2k. This is constant. It happened ovenight and I need your expertise...
TIA....

sounds like a TPS sensor to me.
those 2 codes might be more problems but try this

when the idle is surging up and down
disconnect the TPS sensor
if it stops surging but idles at like 1500-2000 thats a problem.

if im totally wrong, wich is possible, you should pull the IACV, clean it, inspect it, and reinstall, then remove the eCT sensor and test it with a multimeter for resistance, if there is 0 ohms, it means its broken and you need a new one.

Did you check for vacuum leaks and make sure the ground wires are ok.

The TPS is directly on top of the IM right? Well I swapped that too. (the parts I'm throwing at it are from a good idleing motor, so I know there should'nt be a problem with the parts).

I have no vacuum leaks at all, and all grounds are tied down...

You have a ECU you could swap in?

Alright, I figured it out...After a crazy idea, I decided to take the Fast idle control unit off, only to find it rattling around...I opened it up and saw the plastic screw was just chillin, so I re-tightened it and away I went, puuuurfect idle.
Damn the little things!!!!
