Default Installing DC header soon...what will I need???

I'm putting my ceremic DC 4-2-1 header on soon and need to know what I will need to do this. The header I bought was used and it did not come with anything. What bolts will I need to hook up to my free flow cat? Thanks!

you should already have all of the necessary bolts, if not just go to a parts store w/ an example of yours & they can hook you up. i would suggest getting a new gasket so you don't have to do it over again. have fun

new exhaust mani gasket, but not necessary... and 12 mm socket, and a cardboard box for a creeper.

When you take off the exhaust manifold you will need a metric socket set. The bolts on the head are 12mm. There ate 3 bolts that hole the manifold together, I beleive they are 14mm, there are another 2 - 12 mm bolts that hold the lower part of the manifold by the oil pan. Then you have to seperate the lower manifold from the cat. I used vice grips to hold one end of the bolt and I beleive its a 12mm nut on the end of each bolt.

You may want to replace the donut gasket on the end of the header where it meets the cat.

My DC is sitting in the car waiting for the weather to get warmer . I have a brand new Honda O2 sensor, facotry manifold gasket, downpipe to cat gasket and for kicks the spring loaded bolts too. I will strongly suggest that you NOT try to reuse the O2 Sensor that you now have, unless it is a new factory part. As to the manifold gasket-they are reasonably priced and that will save you trouble later. You do need Metric sockets and a Torque wrench should be used on the manifold bolts. Make sure to follow the correct tightening sequence for all of the hardware. DC Sports does have a good instruction sheet. BTW: Keep your hands clean when handling the ceramic coating. One last thing-it is possible that you will need to use PB Blaster on the bolts that hold the downpipe on the stock manifold.

I have no idea what other brand would be better than DC for our cars. They get great writeups.

Thanks for all the tips guys.

What about the o2 sensor...? The whole for it looks like it might be too far away for it to go in?
