just a question about h22a swap
if you currently have the F22 in your car and was wanted to swap in an h22a into your 4th gen lude would this be a difficult task to do? what kind of steps are neccessary to undertake this kind of task?
this swap is pretty easy. it is a straight bolt-in. pull the F22 out, sell it for some beer, send the beer over to me, put the H22 in, and you're set!
just make sure you have the complete H22 motor with all sensor, etc. and the right ECU. you also want to go for OBD1, but if you get an OBD2 it can be converted to OBD1.
if you have some mechanical skills, helms manual, and the right tools, invite some friends over and do it yourself. if you're not that good with el mechanico skills i suggest you take it to a reputable shop to do this for you. it should cost about $500-800 to install, depending on the shop.
also, try doing a search. there have been many threads on this subject before...
good luck

its very easy, youll need to run the vtec wires, both for the sloenoid and the oil pressure switch from the sensors to the ECU,also i believe you need to run the knock sensor into the ECU..everything else is strightforward...i did mine in a day..just be careful doing it, and dont rush things, thats when people start making mistakes...peace
