Ebay parts
I've been reading the forums for a long time and I've noticed a couple of odd things. People have been using generic Ebay parts for their Accords. I've seen people that say to use the upper strut bars from Ebay and get a new one yearly. Other people have said that you can use an Ebay header and get good results. So I was wondering what parts from Ebay are ok to use and what ones should be kept out of the engine bay? Thanks.
thoughts on ebay suspension? get what you paid for?
its the brand you buy not the buyer
ebay dont make parts for the import scene. they are a auction host
I don't think that anyone here meant they were looking for Ebay brand suspension. We (but I speak for myself) were most likely thinking about the generic no-name kinda items. I was thinking of the "DC STYLE HEADER L@@K!" and that kind of thing. We know we're not getting Ebay brand, we're getting Bomz or APC or just generic. I was wondering if there was a huge difference in the Ebay genericly sold parts and they're name brand counterparts.

yea, thats true what he said about depends what parts you buy, i got my suspension on ebay kyb's adjust. for a decent price brand new, they work great for a cheap price, whos gonna argue right?
kind of a 50/50 question there. a lot of people buy name brand stuff beacuse of its reputation. granted it most of the time its better, but not always. for example, i have a friend who has a motorcycle shop that has a dyno. they have designed and tested exhausts for many different bikes and produced an exhaust that add 5+ hp better than all the best known exhausts;(i.e yoshimura, D&D, etc.) problem is, you wont know how the parts perform until you pt them on a dyno. i would go name brand for those motor parts, and cheap on teh strut bars, and other little stuff like that.
I'd wager that stuff is as good as or better than DC Sports, Tucan, crap like that.
I have an "eBay" rear strut tower bar. It's bent bad. But, it's still better than nothing.
The real sturdy stuff is stull like Spoon, Mugen, Cusco, but they're expensive and make nothing for is.

i'm figuring the generic coilovers they have on ebay will be ok as long as its supported by good shocks correct? maybe tokico's or something. or something around there. what do you think?
What the hell is "ebays"

yeah..you'll get burn if you not careful that's for the buyer

Nah, these aren't individual people selling stuff on eBay, they are like "companies" selling their stuff on eBay. "Saber" I think is one of them...
