First off I think I know what your problem is... Second.. How can you drive if you cnat get your key to turn the car on? When I bought my lude, Honestly I will admit that I drove it home... The next time I got in it I couldnt get the key to turn either... 35 minutes later.... I got it to budge... Sometimes the ignition is a bit tricky... I would advise that you put the key in and try to turn the steering wheel really hard while turning your key...Your wheel should be locked and this should be kinda tricky too... Sometimes I find it easiest to push in on the key while turning it and turning the wheel... Keep in mind I have had this problem about 10 times since that one time.... Each time it was a 5 -10 sec solve.. But that first time I was so lost... Just fiddle with it... If you cna start your car and I am coompletely off base then just let me know.... Also, retitle this most embarassing prelude issues ever...

I have a 92 Si and I used to have issues with starting the car, I'd wait a few minutes and then it'd work. It would also die while I was driving. Turns out it was my Main Fuel Relay. I've read that this is typical in Hondas. I cost about $80 to replace from the Dealer. I tried resolderring the joints but that didn't work out too well.

I had this problem before. You stick the key in and it won't turn at all not matter if you wiggle the steering wheel meaning it isn't the lock. What I did to solve this problem was I took some multipurpose oil put some on the key then stuck it in and wiggled the key a little. I did this a few times and soon the key turned really smooth. I didn't put too much in just a little on the key each time. That was about 3 months ago and it has been perfect since and actually works better than it ever did. Give that a try just make sure you use a high quality oil not one of those aerosol can lubes like WD40 or crap like that. If you do you will probably have more problems in the future.
That's my tip.
