I'm gonna be putting my b16 back together soon is there anyone who knows what exactly to look out for when putting it back together... i'm gonna be using new ARP head studs, oem head gasket, oem exhuast and intake gasket, sylicone sealant for the oil pump.... any help would be great... TIA
Follow the procedures in the manual and you'll be fine.
Measure and adjust for the appropriate clearances if you haven't already.
Get you head gasket on right-side-up.
Arrows point towards the front of the engine (pulley-side).
Don't force anything if it doesn't go easily.
Use a thin smear of Hondabond on the block for the oil pan gasket.
Do a recent search on the ARP headstuds. We just covered that one.
