Default gonna be putting my b16 back together soon ?'s

I'm gonna be putting my b16 back together soon is there anyone who knows what exactly to look out for when putting it back together... i'm gonna be using new ARP head studs, oem head gasket, oem exhuast and intake gasket, sylicone sealant for the oil pump.... any help would be great... TIA

Follow the procedures in the manual and you'll be fine.

Measure and adjust for the appropriate clearances if you haven't already.

Get you head gasket on right-side-up.

Arrows point towards the front of the engine (pulley-side).

Don't force anything if it doesn't go easily.

Use a thin smear of Hondabond on the block for the oil pan gasket.

Do a recent search on the ARP headstuds. We just covered that one.

thanks, what is hondabond? and i've got a manual but it's for the sohc motors... what manual should i get that has the proper procedures for the b16? thanks again...

Hondabond is a semi-drying liquid gasket.

it will say
reinstall the pistons.
reinstall the crank.
reinstall the oil pump.

NO details

buy a HELMS
if you dont have one and you have disassembled the engine, i hope you were very careful.

thanks... i have already taken apart the block but i was careful and kept EVERYTHING together and labled with what goes where... except for the bolts that hold the cam caps.... if i didn't keep those in order do i need to buy new ones? TIA
