Default Smoking in fresh rebuilt GSR w/ CTR Pistons

Hey guys! I just rebuilt a 1994 B18c1 with new .25mm oversized JDM CTR pistons, new seals, rings, bearings, oil pump, the works. The head has a skunk springs with ti retainers and skunk .5mm oversized high compression valves. Compression in the engine is about 325-350psi on a snap on gauge when at normal operating temp and the car still hauls ***. So my question is why the F*** does it still smoke when you hit the gas. It doesn't smoke bad, but just enough to **** me off. The whole reason my friend wanted it rebuilt was because it smoked like snoop dog. The machine shope that did the head said they put new stem seals in and that the valve guides "looked" new. I trust them, because I know they do quality work. Any ideas would be extremely helpful. Thanks ya'll!!

where does it smoke?
from the exhaust of in the engine bay?

it may be that the sleeves arent overbored correctly.
if the bored isnt straight all the way down. it will smooke.
i dont htink it has anything to do with the head.
i think it is the sleeves and block. unelss u are leaking oil and it is dropping on the cat and smoking it up that way.

sorry i should have been more specific... It is blue burned oil smoke from the exhaust when you get on the gas hard and at its worst when you are in, say 5th gear and then downshift to 3rd to haul ***

it might be still burning the remaining oil residues from the exhaust...give it some time.. and did you break it in properly?

i couldn't find a standard break in method on the net, so I just told my buddy to alternate rpms while driving and keep it under 4000rpm for like the first 200miles, then be a little more rough on it after that.

what head are u using and what headstuds.
could it be that u are leaking some oil from your head to the pistons /
?

break it in for 800-1000 miles.

200 miles doesn't seem like enough to start pounding on it...

I am using a set of arp head studs on a stock gsr head with a Mr. Gasket oversize headgasket. Of course the head has all the aabove mentioned goodies.

lol i didn't mean like race it or anything, just give it a little more gas than before. Like rev to 5 or 6k. hit vtec once in a while. My reasoning is based on reading every kind of break in method possible. From cranking it and hitting the track, to following honda's 7500 mile break in. So I made a compromise.

How could the oil leak from my head to the pistons? THere is a new gasket and the block and head have been shaved and decked. Everything is new except the rods, crank, and valve guides. Those are the only items I did not change The first 2 have nothing to do with smoking and the guides were supposed to be looking good. The oil level hasn't moved either, unless its just burning so little that I can't tell on the stick.

with ctr pistons u can use oem gasket and it will be fine.
ctr overbored pistons are .25
maybe that is the prob. i am not sure oversized ur gasket is.

also, i dont know the problem, i am trying to offer help, not solutions.
