Anyone tried/have installed oversized type r pistons?
I wanted to know how it has effected the overall performance of motor by installing .25 oversized type r pistons? I have an idea this will create more torque for the overall motor but will it raise the compression too much? ...Or will it raise it at all? The pistons would be going into a B18c (B18c1 GSR). Has anyone had any luck with this type of modification?

When you say type r pistons, are you referring to ctr or itr? JDM ITR will get you about 11.3:1, USDM ITR 10.9:1, CTR 12.1:1, and B16 11.5:1.
