Valve Adjustments on 90 accord

Valve Adjustments on 90 accord
I decided to adjust my valves myself for the first time. They were all .02 inch on the tight side. I would assume they would loosen over time, so would it be ok to leave them as is. I just purchased the car so I am not sure when they were last adjusted. thanks
