...but take a look at the fit of this roll cage:

Note the roof diagonals (often neglected in road race cars but VERY useful to torsional stiffness and triangulation from rear legs to bottom of main hoop. I don't know precisely what the thinking was on the transverse bar in the main hoop but other than that, this is danged close to where I would start with a road race cage.

Rallying: its not if you roll, its when. And there arent any big runoffs, gravel traps, or soft tirewalls to catch you, just nice big trees a few feet from the course.
