Ok here is the dael,

Awhile back i bought a hondata 2B box, the pocket programer, the emulator, and all of the old 2.5 v software from a local guy.. with this setup i am able to tune the roms with out a 4b box.


now my question is.. i bought this as an outside purchase from a local guy, But how can i go about getting the updated software?? I just seen on there Home page that they have a 3.1 v available with some pretty cool features, that would help me tune faster.. i know that if i call them they are just going to give me a rash,about not having a registration codes and what not.. but will anybody send me an updated version of the rom editor software??...I all ready have a tech edge WB so i am set there.

honestly you might have to buy the software from hondata. Im not sure though i could def be wrong. Email hondata and ask them. tell them the situation

 

You have to purchase the new software for 300.00. There is no way to get around that. The new software is one time installation only. Its similar to macromedia, where you need get a installation I.D when you install the program, then you have to call Hondata with that installation I.D to get a regisration I.D to match. Everytime you download the program you get a new installation ID, then you need to call Hondata and get the registration I.D. They get all your personal information from you, then log if you have downloaded the program before or not.

Also, its not worth to upgrade unless you have the romulator. You cannot do real time tuning, or use autotune without the romulator. The total upgrade is 480.00.

No one on here has the software that they can just send me?? I mean it isnt like i havent already payed for everything. i have it all just not the newest software,because i dont have alogin name for there damn site!!

It wont matter if someone sends it to you. You cannot open and use romeditor or hondalogger version 3.0 on the cd. You need registration number from hondata that changes with each installation. Its a one time installation only CD.

youd have to buy it from hondata ($200) and if you only have the regular 2b, tuning with just the emulator, programmer and a wideband, its gonna be tougher since you dont have datalogging for it
