Default Bare Minimum Stuff Needed For a Zex Kit

I got the zex n2O kit but I'm sure I need the extras. I've been told I need a bottle heater to get a decent shot. Also I guess I need a n2O press. gauge somewhere and spark plugs. Do I really need an a/f gauge or a fuel computer? I guess exhaust (I already have intake) would help. How do I retard the timing?

We just took out 4 deg. of timing by cranking the distributor on my buddy's stock SOHC EX, put some cooler plugs in it and now it does 14.3's all day long on the 75 shot. Not the greatest but it works. Just check your plugs frequently and keep the timing in check and you should be O.K.

For a 50 shot you'll just need some NGK BKR7Es. Get a purge kit also. A bottle heater isn't necessary in the summer, but if you are racing at night it you can end up with low bottle pressure and shitty runs.
I retard my timing with an MSD dig 6. Launching my car with 3 degrees of timing retard sucked, so I splurged and got the ignition.
You'll need 1-2 degrees of timing retard for a 65 shot and 2-3 for a 75 shot.

Make sure you change to colder plugs......my buddy put a zex kit on his VW with hot plugs, burnt the electrodes down and dropped #2 cylinder....that was with the 55 pill
