50-120MPH in 11sec... is that good or bad?

me and my friend took my H22 eg for a drive and I timed it from 50-120 mph in 11 seconds........ anybody ever timed their hybrid? I wanted to do a 0-120 mph but didnt get a chance to, any comments welcome.

Seems a little high, but trying to do it from my head could be leaving me with major calculation errors.

I figured it was alittle high but we started at about 2000rpm or so in 3rd, it felt quick though.

Sounds pretty quick I guess. I don't have a H22, nor do I have an EG. I did watch the video of the worlds most powerful Twin-Turbo Viper on the streets, he did 60-110 in 3 secs, and it wasn't even floored. Talk about acceleration.

how accurate is that though? timing yourself? my friend timed his 0-60 on his stock 97 hatch at 8 seconds, when in reality its closer to 10-11. i don't think timing yourself is very accurate.

well yeah, i said it would take twice as long. i dont know that accuracy on that, i just said someone told me that. i dont normally use that method for judging speed.

That is why it seems kinda high, usually when you do a 50-100 or any rolling start timing you dont start at a cruising rpm ie:2000rpm, you would usually be going 0-60 proceeding to time 60-120 etc. So the motor is at a higher rpm when you start to time, big difference. 11 sec. from 2000rpm= not bad at all

i do 70-110 in 9 seconds starting in 5th gear....never done a 3rd gear 50-120...and that was with my silencer in

going 50mph in 3rd gear at only 2000rpm is what gets me. Wouldn't you expect it to be alittle higher.
Maybe thats just H22 for ya. I guess driving a d15 really tells you how slow of a car I've been driving.Ha Ha
