I was wondering how you can tell from this wastegate on what spring it uses?
Do I need to take it apart? which i am not doing...
there are no markings on the wastegate except some writing in marker..4.0

any ideas?

 

the wastgate sould say 0.4 which = 5.8 lbs

 

The springs on the inside are different colors.. Go to the HKS website and look.. you can tell the spring by there chart..

i have an hks also...

 

yes they are colored so you can tell the difference.
