Default Witch exhaust if it were not your money?

All right, Here we go.
I have a decision to make, I have a 94-cx. Currently with a 93-si sohc swap in it
so its not a slug anymore. This is to buy me time for the dohc.
However am about to get my exhaust. I will buy a cat back. One problem.
I am the kind of person to do a lot or research before the actual purchase.
I have been looking them over for @3-4 months now.
I need to know witch all of you out there in H.T land would recommend.
1-Tanabe Super Racing Med.--- love the sound but the look is ???
2-5Zigen fireball--love the look but the sound is???
3-the skunk2 cat back, btw---Randy at IAS will hook me up,
I really posted because I am saving for the b18c5 swap and want the exhaust
to also be capable of handling the air flow of that engine.
Anyway, just let me know...and I appreciate any feedback.
P.S. price is not the issue for the three mentioned above.

Get whatever you think looks best... chances are they all have similar piping size (ex. 2-1/4) and will not be that much different. The exhaust on our honda's doesn't do much for them, unless you're going turbo, then thats' a diff. story.

I heard that the skunk2 exhaust was made by rs-r indivia of Japan.
It this true. It should be sweet if it is.
We installed one on rsx-s demo at work a while back and it sounds sooo sweeeet.

2.5 inch custom piping through a magnaflow 2.5inch in/out resonator and magnaflow 2.5inch in/out muffler. Throw a CatCo 2.5inch in/out converter on there and you'll have a wicked sounding, perfectly flowing exhaust for under $350. PM b19civicHB to get a personal opinion of his, which I think is badass.

I'm too lazy to wander to my desk and photochop a witch on a broom with an exhaust, however I would like to make the suggestion that you invest your money elsewhere.

The gains provided will be negligable, if not hurt low end power. Rather than drawing attention to your car by having a high pitched annoying drone, divert that money into your savings and use it for the B/H series swap, or better yet a driving even (whether that be an autocross or driving school).

The CX suspension could use some refinement as well.

After digesting a honey bun and spinning in my chair for a few moments I thought it best to add to my post.

If you frown upon the 'invest in a driving event' portion of my post, then will you please reconsider your 'i want a b18c5 because its cool' mindset. As of lately everyone gets a chubby over the c5, however many never intend to track the car. The c5 motor is not the proverbial holy grail of honda motors for drag racing. The more ideal route, if you are financially challenged, would to be obtain a b18a/b longblock, a b16x transmission and of course all the goodies and treats that go along with that. If you dont have torque, use a torque multiplyer (lower gearing). No sense in wasting your money on the overly inflated c5 swap , the inflation is in part due to all of this 'b18c5 is cool yo' hype that annoys me.

fin.

b18c5 is cool yo.

Why, oh why would you rip apart all different kinds of cars to make the ULTIMATE TRACK MONSTER? We are not professionals. Sooo much goes wrong in projects like that, I have been a part of a b20/vtec; it was painful. A b18c5 is cool because its a motor, already built for you, tuned to honda specs. You can't tune a honda motor better than honda. For those of you who quote me on the previous sentence, you don't understand that I know honda doesn't tune them to their fullest potential, but to their most efficient.

Buy a c5, put it in, get it over with, have a fast car. Why go through all the bullshit for half a second faster? Ask Tom if he wishes he would have used your idea instead of his.

The above pseudo rant was aimed mearly at the twenty odd posts I see daily scattered through HT. There seems to be a cult like following to the c5 because it will make you 'cool' or it has the 'vtecvodoo' (no offence to tom, just found it a good word) to make them 'mad fast yo' when often they dont realize that similar results can be had instead of dropping 5,000 into a car and having an unbalanced vehicle (a cx w/ no suspension/brakes ...)

back to spinning around the boardroom.

I understand where you're comming from, drop an H22 into an EG and you'll rip a type R with minor bolt on's. But it's all about giving props where props is due. The C5 motor is more of a track motor rather than drag racing. However, motormatrix here on HT has a C5 pushing close to 500 HP so who's to say that a C5 can't be built to boost because it's oh so holy. $$$$$ determines how fast you go, anything is possible.
