Well I come out of class today to see my bumper tore off of my car



There were a couple of witnesses that told me the person went to my school so its *** beatin time.....then ill try to get his insurance to pay for it i hope.....
Good thing I had a bumper cover laying around for no real good reason. Now i have a blue primered front bumper.
It almost looks as though the guys car caught the bumper and just ripped it right off, so it couldve been worse.

 

Just remember, insurance first *** beatin' second!

to add a techy type question to this, the new bumper has a, not to bad, but significant gap underneath each headlight. Does anyone know how i could get rid of this gap? I was thinking the metal hanger strips under the headlight might be bent down but i wasnt too sure.

 

Damn man sorry. I hope you find out who did it, i'd ask random people if they saw anything.

the EXACT same thing happened to me. But the girl left her info so it was all good...I was so pissed when I cam out that I punched my bumper and cracked it...only to learn that she did leave a note. This pissed me off more because now I HAD to replace the bumper instead of popping it back on...

 

Make sure you get money for a new bumper and paint.

noooo.....cough cough yea i got those a couple of months ago but then i grew out of them so i put them aside. Im thinking of selling them so i can pay for a new paintjob but not sure whats goin on with the insurance.

 

First thing that I would do is file a police report ASAP! That'll guarantee that you get your money.

see if u can get a hit and run misdermeanor on him too. his insurance will go sky high for that **** too. make sure u have ur witnesses ready. file a police report with the witnesses. if u don't personally know them (which i'm sure u don't) then u have a case.

 

same thing happened to me like 2 weeks ago. but when i get it back ill have a free cf hood and black housing headlights...

i love insurance (btw i was lucky and the guy left a note)
