Default ED9 to EE8 suspention swap. Running into troubles!!

Last week I posted a question if the outer CV joints were the same. It turns out that they are.

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=429385

But the following problem..It seems that the steering rack (pushrod?) differs between the EE8 and my ED9. This will result in an awkward wheel position pointing outward (too long) or inward (too short)
I can't just swap out the front crossmember either.

Has anyone ever tried this suspention swap? And if so... how did you solve this problem? I definately want to swap the hub/knuckle assembly, and preferrably also the upper wishbone, and lower control arm. (New bushings on donor)
It should also apply to an Si->SiR conversion.

Thanx ppl!
