I really need to know because i'll be buying a car in a week or two, and the guy who said he would install it is moving in a month, so im kinda desperate for some help.

 

Yes you can. But it sounds like you need to do a lot of research before you should even try to swap, even if a guy is installing it for you, especially since he is moving. On top of it, you dont know the condition of the car you are getting since you havent bought it yet. And on top of that, where you are going to get a hold of a b18c5 in time? They are pretty hard to come by from my knowledge. Albeit that you somehow manage to get a b18c5 in time. You are still simply pressed for time. There's more to it than just getting a b18c5 engine. You will need other parts, and more parts if the ones that come with it are broken. Chances are you wont get everything before a month is past, and what would you do if the swap is incomplete and he is gone?
