just baught a 91 ef for 50 bucks with a blown motor..have some questions
i just picked up a 91 civic hatchback for 50 bucks its red and the fenders are dented to the point that they need to be replaced but it has no rust what so ever on the body... but its complete and very clean..im thinking about throwing a older cable trans b18b into it so i can have a reliable beater for the winter months and rainy days..what all would i need to throw a first generation ls b18b into this hatch? im not gonna do much performance mods to it but its gonna be better then most peoples daily drivers...i already have an intake for it ,weapon r coilovers,2.5 cat back home made exhaust with apexi n1 muffler. im gonna gut the whole car and paint it flat military green inside and out and just have the two front seats from a 91 crx si ,and the civic dash no carpet or back seats or door panels..i just want to know what i will need to throw a 91-93 integra ls motor into the civic?

Get some place racing mounts. Make sure you get a 90-91 Integra swap as 92-93 will be obd1. also, it's a b18a that came with a cable tranny in the 90-93 integras. the b18b started in 94+ integras.

I got my '90 for $100 with a motor that ran. It was an old lady original owner too. All it had wrong was an ignitor and fuel pump. Tiny bit of rust that is being fixxed right now. Along with a slew of JDM parts.

man you guys really lucked out, anything under $500 is a steal
i got a 91 dx for 300 that ran and had perfect everything. no dents or anything. and then i got another for a grand that had a b16a swap with pw0 computer and short shifter and full kit. the only thing wrong with that one was the tranni mount broke and so i sent it back to hasport and they replaced it free of charge. but oh yea i pulled that whole swap out and put stock bumpers on it and put in just a d16a6 and sold it for 2grand and kept all the other **** to do my swap with. now that was a steal
