I got an idea: drop me a line when you are ready to buy all that stuff. I work with a shop up here in Frederick and I'll see if I can hook you up.

To be honest the only things i see here worthwhile on this list are:

•22mm ITR rear sway bar
•15x7 Team Dynamic Racing Pro Race 1 http://www.edgeracing.com 798.00
with Falken Azenis Sports 205/50/r15
•Ground Control springs (450f/550r) http://www.efzero.com 340.00
•Koni Yellow Shocks ?????? <--- shox.com, tirerack

Sparco evo not legal for STS (Fixed back seat).

most of the things like gauges and tower braces are kind of a waste, use the money for an evolution school instead.

somethings...

- I wouldn't change the rear pads.
- Don't buy a SPOON anything... Go to Carquest and buy the same thing for about $5
- Are the braces really needed? The ITR ones maybe... because they can be had cheap, but Benen is $$$.
- A/F guage isn't worth getting. If it's not wideband, I wouldn't bother. If you want something, an EGT would be more useful.
- Why the tranny temp guage???
- Any stunna knows that Championship White gets the girlies...

If you plan on going to DSP after STS then remember that camber kits are NOT allowed in sp for our cars . We're trying to get that changed but... who knows what's gonna happen. You can help by sending Howard Duncan (hduncan@scca.org) an E-Mail requesting to permit cars with Double-A-Arm suspensions to allow for camber correction in street prepared.

9005 conversion
What is 9005 conversion?

Spoon Magnetic Drain Plug
Why? Can't you find a generic one at AutoZone?

Autometer Phantom Electronic Gauges
Not needed. Stock gauges are fine.

Benen Rear Tie Bar
Don't bother.

Autometer Gauge bezel
Air Fuel Ratio 2 1/16
Transmission Temperature
No need.

Autopower 4 pt race Bolt in Roll bar
w/ Removable Cross Brace
w/ Removable Harness bar
The removable bits are a pain to get in and out sometimes. Do you really need them? The back seat should not be used with the bar in place.

Maybe I should do a post about my car too and entitle it "How to eat a Nimitz class aircraft carrier..."

If you are only going into DSP class then just spend money on what is needed - suspension, wheels/tires, and maybe a rollbar with harness. If you are not doing any additional engine upgrades, then don't worry about the additional guages, sensors, etc... Spend that extra money you saved on a great investment that will never break or lose value - driving schools.

I would replace that whole list for an Evolution Performance Driving School.

I know you must hate me, but after learning from experience, don't make the same mistake I did.

Spend the money on the school.

All of those mods combined won't drop your time as much as an Evo School would. Not even close.

But...it's your money...have fun.

good luck,

aj

Nope... and this makes me very sad. From what I understand they plan on changing some of these rules over the next few years so STS flows more smoothly into SP.... but until that time... no camber kits.
