Interchangable cams for a JDM ZC
A friend of mine replaced his head gasket and instead of loosening the timing belt tensioner, he removed one of the cams to get the belt off. PLEASE don't ask me why he did it. I've already slapped him many times. Anyways, he got the head on and put the timing belt on by first putting the belt on and then tilting the cam into the carrier bearings. It wasn't going as planned so his buddy decided to use a hammer on one of the bearing caps to get it to go down.
Long story short, he busted one of the bearing caps and snapped the cam in two. I will have to post pictures if I can get some from him.
Now for my questions. Are there any cams that are compatible with a JDM ZC motor? If so, what is a reasonble price? I need to find out if he broke the intake or the exhaust cam.
Let me know if you need any other info in order to answer my questions. Im a VW guy just trying to help out a friend.

i would think that the 86-89 integra would fit. however, if he broke one of his
cam caps, he might as well buy another cylinder head.
