Default smog and the aem fuel rail

i want to get the aem fuel rail for my 99 gsr. i heard it will pass smog but not the visual test. if any one has any info let me know. because i dont want to go through all the smog drama. i jus want to know will they pass it or will it affect smog. i know its a replacement part and it shouldn't but since its colored and all they might think its some illegal part

It shouldn't effect smog at all. But because of the colour it stands out, so on the visual they might question it. They should know that it wouldn't effect anything.

I learned the hard way....AEM provides Viton o-rings which swell and tear when exposed to chemicals....I started leaking fuel from all my injectors within six months of installing them. I put the stock ones back on and no leaks what-so-ever....here's a pic of the shitty ones AEM gives you
