Default Can someone help me indentify this receiver?

Ok heres the story. My car was broken into a week or two back, and the radio was stolen. The car had this deck in it when I bought it and since I was never a big audio guy I never really payed any attention to the features/model it was. It was a clarion and I think it was a Pro Audio series. It has stricking resemblance to the DXZ-625, and I think it may have been a model previous to it. It was 52x4 and was not MP3 player. Here is the ONLY pic I ever got of it.. (sigh). This is for insurance/police documentation purposes... TIA

this is the small pic, click the link for the big one...

It would help if you at least gave the brand name on the headunit....but I'm guessing some sort of Panasonic.

look through http://www.crutchfield.com to see if you can identify it with any of theirs

Did it have stupid little screen-savers? If so which did it have? That may help in ID'n the model. Two sets of pre-outs, or three?

Yes it is a Clarion, also, I've looked through Crutchfield and it resembles (has the same layout) as the DXZ625 but judging from what it looks like, my unit was a pervious model (if it was the same line). It had two sets of preamp outputs, and had a round (dont know if it matters) plug for the CD-Changer. The changer that went with it was the Clarion CDC-1235. It didnt have the screen saver thingy.

On the left side of the HU, did it have a crazy little joy-stick like ****? This would have been how you controlled the volume, changed CD tracks, etc. If so then it is an older model.

So two sets of pre-outs, no sub out... that helps.

Oh sorry I didnt reply.. That looks almost exactly like it. Except a couple of things here and there. The remote is identical. And the joystick is silver. Thanks man the help is greatly appreciated.

Now that I looks at the closer, THAT IS IT!! Thanks a million man.. Insurance and the Police needed the exact model of the unit for their report.

Replacements got me a brand new DXZ-735MP for the MSRP of that one, so I'm pretty content. Thanks again
