OBX turbo manifold
its cheap and wil lcrack guanranteed. but if you brace the turbo to the block you should have some greater sucess fo not cracking bnut not worth it in my opinion
that is true, It is pretty nice. but they dont tell you about a few things that come extra with the manifold.. They Send the manifold, gaskets, and a bottle of advil for the headaches you get every weekend when you have to reweld it.. Those manifolds are notorious for cracking, if i was in the market for one, i would certainly get something a little more durable then that IMO... good luck..Ron
I think it's a good deal if you bought one and made your own custom bracket to support the turbo. A bracket from Home Depot could not run more that $20.
Then again, I have no experience with them.

I would get one, matter a fact i had one (well not the OBX) for a few months but decided to change my setup so I traded with a fried for his inlinepro manifold. Two weeks after he installed it cracked. When i had it in my car i had the turbo braced, he didn't bother to do that because he was lazy. He welded it and braced the turbo and has bin running strong for a few days now with no problem.

my friend bought the same one off ebay and now is scared to put it on...anyways he offered to sell it to me for $175, i think im gonna buy it, my dad is an excellent welder and i imagine i could brace it somehow...when you guys say brace the turbo what exactly do you mean, i understand the concept just trying to get a picture in my head...
You can practically make any type of brace to support the turbo. Mount the brace to the block or transmission so the manifold isn't holding up all the weight.
Another thing you can do is find out where it tends to crack, and add extra material there. It can not be an arm and a leg to take it to the local welding shop and let them add some more material to the area. Then brace it up. You got a strong combination there. $200 is more attractive than $599 to me.

That's a good price. I'm going to get one in a month or so. I'm selling my MaxRev log style to fund it. BTW, the price you are paying is not far off brand new. Later Allen
we know they break, but i think if u could develop a decent brace for the WG + turbo it would be a pretty cost effective good lookin' mani..
