CRX wipers suck! (keep hitting side of windshield)
Well, I love everything about my crx except for the damn windshield wipers! Not only do the different speeds suck, but the drivers side wiper keeps hitting the side of the windshield...what gives? Has anyone fixed this problem? What about the speed of them? Thanks in advance guys!
I have no clue mine does the same thing. Also makes a loud clunking sound, dunno if its the wiper arm bring stripped or the arms under the cover gonna have to look one day when its not raining obiously. If you find anything let me know also
Soooo, neither one of you has tried removing the offending wiper and repositioning it so that it does not hit the side? When they are parked, the wiper needs to rest about 1/2" from the very bottom of the windshield. It might take a few trys to get it right since there is a bit of slop in the mechanism and the wipers travel further in the wet than on a dry windshield.
Reposition your wipers. Turn your key to the ON position. Turn on your wipers. When they are furthest from the start position, Turn the key off. Look where your wiper is mounted to the car. See that 10mm nut? Loosen it. Move your wiper. Tighten the nut. Let it rain.
Clunking sound: See if the connecting rod between your wipers is striking anything above the firewall.

yeah I've adjusted mine a few times and still does it. Think my arms are stripped seriously....

gota love rainX. but i do live in hawaii and it rains pretty much every day, so i keep one wiper behind my seat, and do the "raicer" one wiper blad thing, but it does not work to bad.
