I'd say cams + tuning and you'd be happy.

i think crower guarantees against breakage. that is what they are priding themselves on. 'no stock regrinds'

'billet'? company or what they are made of

I love the nitrous. Actually I'm a NITROUS HEAD. Only reason I recommended cams is because that power is never lost. With the LONG gears and the nitrous, I have me a little v8 killer . TEXAS REPRESENT

do you have any internals done to your motor, or is it just the NOS? i want to spray too, but i'm still not sure yet.

You have no idea what you're talking about

Crower makes some great camshafts and their quality keeps increasing...I am a proud owner of a fine set of crowers, just don't forget the springs/retainers...

from what i understand you dont need the springs and retainers for the stage crowers.

Only mods are a aem intakee, ghetto exhaust piping, the zex and a act hdss. Spray and OEM clutch don't really get along . My pressure plate had grooves in it where the clutch riviets wore into. Only thing I hate about nitrous is a couple days before the track opens its all gone. I know about 6 places in dallas and all of them were out last week

LoL. Yea, try revving a stock GS-R valvetrain to 9k...then come tell me you did'nt need springs....

(maybe you heard something like that for a stage 1 cam)

Actually I do I know first hand! I had A friend that happend to and crower dont give a ****. It bent all his exhaust valves and fucked his pistons up. How the **** do you know I don't know. I will give you his IM name and you can ask him personally. I use there springs but I would never use there camshafts go skunk2 or you will regret it crower cams suck ***.

Ok. From what I've heard, the older crowers had some breakage issues, however the same can be said about SKII's as well(not to mention Jun's are notorious for shreadding timming belts ). The early development stages were not so advanced, but in recent experiences they have reinforced their work to avoid against this issue. I stand behind crowers in full, they have treated me very well...

damn, i sure do hope i hit better than a 15.4 at the track with my ls. all i have is cai,2.25" piping, and an apexi muffler. i hit a 15.8 with my d series motor and my car sure does feel a lot faster than my d series motor. i think my hatch is a little bit lighter than yours though. can't wait until i get to the track.

Well, I suppose I can now officially *open mouth, insert foot*
I broke an intake cam today, I'm a lil peeved to say the least

I just got off the phone with them and they say they'll replace free of charge...but we have to pray for the cam being the only damage to the motor
