Default :\ Just a fast question...

I'm a nub as u all can see but, i think i know enough to get by w/ out getting flamed on to much. But anyways heres my fast question. I have an chance to get a 88 civic h/b for only $300 from a girl i work with.. It only has 100k on the engine, and hasn't been beat on. (could ues more torque since i'm used to a 5.7ltr Dakota ) The clutch was replaced last week. Shifts fine, But the body is starting to rust around the wheel wells. Is it possible to get the rust fixed with out costing an arm and a leg? Hope i get some responds w/ out getting flamed. btw i did a serach, i couldn't find anything, or i'm using the search wrong.

The cost of the repair will depend on the extent of the rust. 300 bucks is a pretty good deal even with the rust. The repair will probably be pretty expensive but considering the initial investment it may not be so bad.

HeHe. The point of buying is to drive me to work and back, cause i don't have my truck anymore poor thing, plus i think it'll be a great project car Paint it amber fire just like my truck. So i won't be parting it out

Good deal...But if your eally plan on puttin more money in it i.e engine swap etc..I sugesst finding a good body..just because you only see rust on the wheel wells..doesnt mean thats the only place..rust could be hiding on the floor pans..rust is bad for uni body cars since the body is the frame...but $300 is worth it for a daily driver or beat around project
