o2 sensor replacement...
Have to replace an 02 sensor in a friend's 89 civic HB si.... anything special I need to know before doing this.......procedure I have to follow... tools I need to use...????
do I have to remove anything from the engine bay.....?
any help would be appreciated...

Its easy. You need an O2 sensor wrench which is like a socket with a part cut out for the wire to go through. Remove your radiator fan and you will have plenty of room to work. Other than that not a big deal.
All you need is a 22mm wrench.. your just unclip the wire from the plug. Then unscrew it from the header. It takes like 5 mins

i used a 7/8 closed wrench i think. slip the harness through the hole and turn wrench, also use some anticease compound it makes removing the thing later like butter
When I got my Bosch sensor it came with what looked like some sort of grease with graphite inside it, for what one will assume is coming out easier next time.
