Default JDM Headlights with HID Conversion?

Has anyone done this? if so, how has it turned out? I plan on doing to JDM Front End conversion on my car soon (I FINALLY GOT A JOB!!!!) I am afraid it might just turn out as some $50 silverstar bulbs or something, and not get the fulling light capabilities of the HIDs

i just completed my hid conversion with the jdm headlights. Over-all i like it, but the problem with adding hid to a headlight housing that wasnt made for it is that you have a huge light out-put in oncoming traffics' headlights. Im thinking about adding something like skafia did to his integra lights w/ the audi projectors. To answer your ? the hid's are extremly brighter then silverstars. Ant

how big of a difference was it over stock? I don't want to blind the oncoming traffic, but do you have a picture of the HIDs in the jdm headlights? people say to put HIDs in the stock USDM headlights it looks like silverstars (this is what I was referring to) ... I was going for something like 4200k

There are piecies that can shield the bulb more so that it doesnt do that.[

What about the adjustement of the JDM headlight?

I just bought some parts for my front end conversion....and I was looking for the adjustement.
One thing for shure,it is not the same as the USDM one.

Someone has info or a pics for this?

I will find a way...but I would prefer a OEM way

Its not going to be OEM for sure. Becuse 1. you have a JDM front end on a USDM car, therefore the headlights shine the wrong way alreaddy. Number 2. I'm not sure if they make a H4H convertion kit yet. I think I remeber someone saying something about it, but never saw anything on the kit. Since there is no kit that I know of, your going to have to *custom* fit it in there. and its still not going to be as great as OEM. But I guess thats what we get for picking old 88-91 cars.
