wondering if mount kit is needed for a b series swap into 5th gen

Someone will have to back me up on this, but i believe you can just use all existing mounts. No kit necessary. Wait for more feedback though, as I'm not 100%

 

Bolts in just fine.

 

us the b series mounts that come with the engine...off of the JDM Civic, Teg, or whatever.

 

use the stock mounts that came on the car, you can use the mounts that came with the motor also.

 

The mounts that came on the car (aside from the rear mount that is bolted to the crossmember) will NOT work. You need to use the B-series mounts that hopefully came with your motor. If you don't have mounts with your motor, try a junk yard for some mounts or check around online for someone selling them. Also, if you want drag mounts, check out http://www.hasport.com they make mounts that are just bolt in mounts to replace existing b-series mounts, but they are much stiffer

 

I used the HASport mounts as well. Nothing bling blings liek billet

 

Mounts should come with the engine.. just use those. They came with my b16a swap that I dropped into my 95 dx coupe.... get a short shifter too... HUGE difference and I love mine
