how would a dc header flow with a modified 2.5" collector and a 2 1/4" test pipe and 2 1/4" piping? would it bottleneck where the header meets up with the test pipe? how big is the dc 4-2-1 collector? would it be better to have a 2 1/4" collector? tia!
edit: how much would a muffler shop typically charge to modify the collector?
peace!

The DC collector is 2" OD. If you are going to run the 2-1/4" test pipe and cat pipe just mod the header with a 2-1/4" collector.
I did this mod and it worked really well. To do this you need to cut the last Merge collector (on the B pipe) back to about its widest point and weld on a 2 12" pipe and flex. SMSP has a lot more experience with headers so I might suggest you take his suggestion of only going 2 1/4" piping off of the collector. 2 1/2" worked killer for me, but He has more Knowledge.
